How do you change the Safari icon on Mac?

I did it for most other folders by coping and pasting the images through %26quot;get info%26quot;, but its not working for the Safari icon. I open %26quot;get info%26quot; for the image I want, copy it, then open the %26quot;get info%26quot; for Safari and paste but nothing happens. Is there another way to change the icon? How do you change the Safari icon on Mac?
you need to replace the .icns file inside the application. Right click the app and choose Show Package contents, then go to the Contents/Resources directory. There will be a file in there, probably Safari.icns. You'll need to replace it with the icns file you want it to show.
