How to change icon of hard drive such as C, D, E in 'My Computer'?

Icon or drive letter ? I am not sure if you can change the assigned HDD letter but you can assign drive letters to your disc drives, it may be the same for HDD(?). Right click on my computer select properties, click on hardware tab, click on your HDD, select properties and see if it is possible to assign a letter. CARE if you change your C drive to another letter it'll screw with your shortcuts 'cos they look to C to find their programs. Best advice is to leave C alone.
