Ipod touch- How to change icon layout?

Hi, I have a (jailbroken) ipod touch with installer and customize applications.

I can't figure out how to change the screen so I only have only THREE rows of icons and then the dock icons. Thus, there would be a blank row between apps and dock.

I know people do it, but how???????? Can someone help me?

Please and thanks!!!Ipod touch- How to change icon layout?
Despite what the others say, you don't need to upgrade to 1.1.3 if you don't want to (but see my note at the bottom for more on that). All you need to do is install Summerboard, which has an option to skip the last row of icons. It can be found in the System category of Installer. If the normal version doesn't install on your firmware version, try SummerBoard (old) instead.

Anyway, if you have an 8GB iPod Touch, you can go ahead and update to the latest firmware, and download ZiPhone from the link below, to jailbreak the latest firmware:

If not, then you can watch the above website for updates that work with 16GB iPod Touches. Also, this blog might be useful:

You need to upgrade to firmware 1.1.3 at least so that you can then change or customize the icons.

Just press on an icon for about 10sec and then all the icons will be moving or swaying like jello. Then you can just drag the icons to whereever you want on the screen. When done just tap on the screen.Ipod touch- How to change icon layout?
Neil N is right about you needing 1.1.3 installed on your iPod to be able to do that; however, to clear it up a bit:

?You only have to press for a couple of seconds, nowhere near 10 :P

?1.1.3 also introduces the ability to have several %26quot;pages%26quot; of home screen, so you can still have more than three rows' worth of icons, but just drag the remaining ones onto another page

?You actually press the Home button to go back to %26quot;normal mode%26quot;, not the screen itself
