I just want to know how to change an icon in vista. when I right click on the explorer icon on the dektop and I go to properties.. there is no appearance tab or anything like that. What the heck do I do.. it should be simple right?How do I change the explorer icon on desktop in vista?
Right click on the explorer icon%26gt;Properties%26gt;Click on shortcut at the tab%26gt;Change icon
If its not working, make a new shortcut for it delete the old shortcut and try again.
(Changing icons only works on Shortcuts and Folders.)
