How to change icons ?

Okey i want to change my pc's folders icon to some smart icons.How to change icons ?
Its so simple, just right click on folder which u want to change icon. Then click property then click change icon. Chose from wide list.How to change icons ?

If you are using Vista, you can do this:



1. Right click on the current folder icon.

2. Select Properties.

3. You'll see a screen with four tabs (General, Sharing, Security, and Customize). Select the Customize tab.

4. Near the bottom, you'll find %26quot;Folder icons.%26quot; Click the Change Icon button. Then select the icon that you want.How to change icons ?
Creating your own XP icon:

Take the foto you want as an icon; process/save as an %26quot; .ico %26quot; file.

I use %26quot; irfanview %26quot; for this, but other app's will do it also.

With the image open, File%26gt; Save as...%26gt; select from drop menu '.ico' %26gt; OK out.



Note that large fotos, with lots of detail tend to get 'washed' out, so your end product may not be quite what you envision.

Put that new image into 'icons' folder:
