How do you change the HTML default icon?

When you create a new html document, the default icon is your browser's logo. I tried to go to Control Panel -%26gt; Folder Options -%26gt; File Extensions, but when i tried to change the icon for html, nothing happened. Is there a way to do this?How do you change the HTML default icon?
As it says in Windows XP, you have to go to advanced - but then you are changing the logo for your browser, not for HTM/HTML files and I wouldn't be surprised if IE and Firefox, etc. changed it back.How do you change the HTML default icon?
Do you mean on your computer, or on the browser?

On the browser, you must add:

%26lt;link rel=%26quot;shortcut icon%26quot; href=%26quot;the_ico_file_you_want_to_use.ico%26quot;%26gt;

Use GIMP to make .ico files.

On your computer, I have no idea.
