On Yahoo Answers how do you change your icon to become a person instead of a boring, gray smiley face? Lol.

? Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and sign in (if you're not already). You can make an avatar image there. If you need help with making the avatar, follow instructions at (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/avatars… ) %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;



?Your avatar is currently a grayed out man/woman because it's the default image.



-Click Appearance Tab for %26gt;%26gt; Skin Color, Face, Eyes and Hairstyle.

-Click Apparel tab for%26gt;%26gt; Full outfits, Tops, Bottoms or a Mix and Match

-Click Extras Tab for%26gt;%26gt; accessories likes Eyewear, Pets, Hats, Hobbies Gear

-Click Backgrounds for%26gt;%26gt; Snow, Beach or a Nightclub background.

● Make sure that you click the Orange %26quot;Save Changes%26quot; button below your Avatar preview window before leaving the site!.---- Otherwise it won’t Save.



● Once you've customized your avatar, don't forget to Save your Avatar by-- clicking your profile%26gt;'Edit My Info%26gt;Use My Avatar and Save at the bottom. You’re done now.



●If you’re not getting a link to set your Avatar in your profile page, go to--(http://profiles.yahoo.com.) and click ‘Change Photo’ link. There-- you’ll be able to Select, Save and Use your Avatar as your profile picture on Yahoo Answers.

¤ Fill out the Form to get started on the first page by Filling out your Name, Display Name, Gender, Age and Current Location.

¤ Then click on the “Change Photo” link in the page, below your avatar.

¤ You’ll see a popup which has 2 options” Add Photo” and “Customize Avatar

¤ To upload a picture click “Add Photo”

¤ Click on “Browse” button to browse to the picture you want to upload from your Computer.

¤ Click on “Upload” button to upload the picture.



●NOTE: Make sure the format of the picture is either in JPEG or PNG format, and the picture is less than 5 Megabytes.



? You can Crop the picture by dragging the box and click ‘Crop Image’. You can resize the photo this way and make it fit the Avatar box.

? Lastly click on “Use Selected Picture” button.



Then just come back to Yahoo! Answers http://answers.yahoo.com/.



- And Click on this link http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit.

- In the %26quot;Picture%26quot; section Tick ‘Use My Profile Picture’

- Then click %26quot;Preview%26quot; at the bottom and then just click %26quot;Save%26quot;. It's done.
